Manager's opinion

When faced with something I don’t agree with, I asked myself: am I being pedantic, or is this objectively wrong? Put it in another way, is there merit to how something should be done? As a less experienced manager this is often not so clear, but one’s opinion carries weight. More weight than peers. When you ask someone you managed to do something in a particular way, they might be compelled to do it just to appease you. Is this what you want?
