Moods

I continue to revisit my old blog - with posts written more than 10 years ago. It’s almost like reading someone else. It takes me on a journey. Where my mind was, my mood and what I wanted to do with what I had. A common advice I read from prolific writers is to keep a journal and write every day. It’s an intimate process that bears fruits. But it also requires discipline to go through this motion every day. To our detriment, often our disposition gets in the way.

There’s a quote from Frank Herbert that I quite like:

Mood’s a thing for cattle or for making love. You fight when the necessity arises, no matter your mood.
