Saudade

I have seen this happening before. It’s not nostaliga, rather saudade. The most intense case is with World of Warcraft. And I find myself falling for this trap every few years when a new enticing expansion comes out. I buy it, play for 30 minutes, remember that the same old feeling will never come back and I move on.

It seems Diablo has fallen under that category.
